Our Story

Mark Reddy’s journey into photography began in his teenage years, inspired by his late father, Tony, a press photographer. In 1987, Mark took his first step into the professional world with Tony O'Malley Pictures, starting as a B/W printer before becoming an assistant to the in-house photographer. Five years later, in 1992, he joined Ireland's largest commercial studio, where his natural talent saw him quickly rise to the position of senior photographer. His dedication and expertise have earned him numerous accolades over the years, including being named Fuji Masterpiece Photographer of the Year in 2001 and Irish Professional Photographer of the Year in 2002 at the IPPA National Photographic Awards.

Mark has had the privilege of working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including celebrity photographers Anton Corbijn, known for his work with U2, and Jill Formanovsky, a celebrated rock photographer. In 2008, he co-founded a photography business with fellow photographer and friend Nat Baines, before Nat's move back to the U.S. in 2011, which led Mark to establish Trinity Digital Studios, based in Maynooth, Co. Kildare. His studio has since become a hub for commercial photography, and Mark has had the opportunity to work with some of Ireland’s top brands and celebrities. Notable projects include ad campaigns and magazine cover shots with high-profile figures like Dublin GAA footballer Bernard Brogan, musician Imelda May, and Kathryn Thomas from "The Voice Ireland".

In 2013, Mark had the opportunity to shoot stills on the set of "If Those Lips", a TV play written by Patrick McCabe and starring Ian McElhinney of "Game of Thrones". The following year, he shot a magazine cover for "The RTE Guide" with Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, who played Nidge in "Love/Hate". He also worked with other actors from the hit show, capturing stills on the final day of filming in Ireland. Mark's client list continued to expand, working with well-known personalities such as Celia Ahern, Nevin Maguire, Martin King, and Miriam O’Callaghan.

In 2016, Mark took on more industrial and catalogue photography projects, traveling across Ireland to capture a diverse range of imagery. His skills were showcased to a national audience in the first episode of "Celebrity Operation Transformation", where he was asked to shoot publicity shots for web, print, and "The RTE Guide" cover featuring Kathryn Thomas and the show’s leaders. A highlight of 2017 saw Mark travel to Haiti to document the efforts of The Haven Partnership, an Irish NGO working to empower Haitians through training and sustainable development projects. This trip gave Mark the chance to capture the real-life impact of humanitarian work in areas like Les Cayes and Isle De Vache.

From 2018 to 2020, Mark's business grew significantly, with increasing demand in sectors like ECommerce, housing, and hotels. His ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, while maintaining high-quality results, has earned him a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading commercial photographers. Though the COVID-19 pandemic brought its challenges, Mark’s business remained resilient, and by 2023, he experienced his busiest year yet. Today, Trinity Digital Studios continues to thrive, offering a range of photography services, from product and food photography to corporate and event work.
